With a convention on the problems that concern silversmiths immediately, entitled “The Tomorrow of Ioannitian Silversmithing – Silversmithing”, the actions throughout the “Month of Ioannitian Silversmithing”, organized by the Municipality of Ioannito, in collaboration with the Heart, proceed on Saturday, June 1 of Conventional Crafts of Ioannina (KE.PA.BI.), the Ioannina Silversmiths’ Affiliation “I Gianniotiki Techni” and the Piraeus Group Cultural Basis, with the assist of the Division of Newer Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Tradition.
The intention of the convention is for the silversmiths themselves to lift the wants of the sector by way of institutional framework, coaching and entrepreneurship, in addition to the issues, the answer of which is deemed needed to make sure the viability of the occupation.
The convention will happen on the Cultural Heart “D. Hatzis”, with the next program:
14:30 – 14:45 Arrival – espresso
14:45 – 15:10 Greetings from the deputy mayor of Tradition, Cultural Establishments and Occasions of the Municipality of Ioannina Mina Paschopoulos, consultant of the Area of Epirus and the scientific supervisor of the Silversmithing Museum Kostis Kalapothakis.
15:10 – 15:25 Interventions by the vice-president of the Heart for Conventional Crafts of Ioannina (KEPAVI) Nikos Golas and the president of the Silversmiths and Metalsmiths Affiliation of Ioannina “The Artwork of Ioannina” Konstantinos Zervos.
15:35 – 16:30 First thematic part: “Gianniot Silversmithing and Entrepreneurship”
Coordinator: Yiannis N. Drinis, head of the Division of Intangible Cultural Heritage & Intercultural Points/ Division of Newer Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Tradition.
The president of the Chamber of Ioannina Efthymios Chrysostomou and the deputy head of the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Small Medium Enterprises on the Common Secretariat of Business of the Ministry of Improvement and Funding Timotheus Rekkas will take part.
16:40 – 17:40 Second thematic part: “Gianni Silversmithing and Vocational Coaching”
Coordinator: Antonis Kanavouras, Editor of the Bulletin of Ioannina Silversmithing within the Nationwide Index of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Philologist-Arsakeio Common Lyceum of Ioannina.
The deputy director of the Vocational College of Apprenticeship (EPA.S) of Ioannina of the Public Employment Service (D.YP.A) Christos Papageorgiou, consultant of the College of Positive Arts of the College of Ioannina, the top of the Communication Improvement & Promotion Division of the Nationwide Group for Certification of {Qualifications} will take part and Vocational Steerage Dimitra Dede and the top of the Vocational Coaching Implementation Directorate on the Common Secretariat of Vocational Schooling, Coaching & Lifelong Studying of the Ministry of Schooling, Faith and Sports activities Dimitris Souliotis.
In each sections there will probably be time for dialogue, whereas the occasion will shut with conclusions.
