Doha: The inaugural Mohammed Sabeeh Bukhari Memorial Cup Sports Tournament, organized by the Qatar Indian Social Forum as part of its annual sports fair on the occasion of Qatar National Sports Day, kicks off in Doha on March 4. The closing ceremony will be held on March 11, officials said in a press release.
The cup, named after the late MS Bukhari, a well – known Qatari businessman and sports enthusiast, competes in major sports such as football, volleyball, kabaddi and tug-of-war. Radio Suno is the program’s media partner.
Radio Suno Director Amir Ali released the poster for the event at a ceremony held at the Radio Suno office yesterday. Social Forum Central Committee Secretary Osama Ahmed, Central Committee Member KC Muhammadali, Kerala State Vice President Ahmed Kadameri and RJ Appunni were also present.
