Approval of a draft decree on the phrases of accreditation of technical organizations in issues of safety in opposition to ionizing radiation
Rabat – The Authorities Council accredited, on Thursday, draft decree n°2.23.1192 setting out the phrases of accreditation of technical organizations within the area of safety in opposition to ionizing radiation, introduced by the Minister of Vitality Transition and Sustainable improvement, Leila Benali.
The challenge is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Regulation No. 142.12 referring to nuclear and radiological security and safety and the creation of the Moroccan Company for Nuclear and Radiological Security and Safety (AMSSNUR), particularly articles of 127 to 134 and article 173 of the mentioned legislation, indicated the Minister Delegate in command of Relations with Parliament, authorities spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, throughout a press briefing after the Council.
Beneath article 127 of this legislation, a regime has been put in place to accredit technical organizations that may, on their very own, present technical companies within the nuclear and radiological area, he defined.
Along with defining the situations and modalities for accrediting the aforementioned technical organizations, in addition to the situations for modification, renewal, suspension and withdrawal of this accreditation, this challenge determines the character of the knowledge that the accredited organizations are required to transmit to AMSSNUR in a fashion commonly, and completes the checklist of technical companies that have to be accredited, he added.
