The undertaking “Ganja and Ganja Individuals”, offered by the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov, will likely be devoted to the outstanding Azerbaijani composer, Honored Artist Gambar Huseynli, the press service of the Philharmonic informed Day.Az.
The live performance “Ay işığında” will happen on June 1 at 19.00. The night will function compositions from the composer’s repertoire.
Gambar Huseynli was born on April 16, 1916 in Ganja. Creator of varied musical works, about 100 romances and songs, music and songs for performances. The composer was glorified by his well-known track “Judzhalyarim”. The poetic foundation was the writings and works of classics of Azerbaijani literature, akin to Nizami, Nasimi, Fizuli, Vagif, Natavan, Samad Vurgun, Jafar Jabbarli, Nabi Khazri, Bakhtiyar Vahabzade and plenty of others. He died in July 1961 in Baku.
