The 26th round of the Premier League kicked off today (Saturday) and was definitely surprising. Liverpool fell behind and became 1: 3 over Norwich, Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 0: 1 from goal in the 89th minute, Burnley defeated Brighton 0: 3, Arsenal had no trouble against Brentford and Watford surprised Aston Villa. In the game that opened the round, West Ham and Newcastle split 1-1.
Liverpool – Norwich 1: 3
Jürgen Klopp’s team fell behind surprisingly against Norwich, but they are in excellent shape and despite all that their momentum continues and they have achieved their fifth consecutive Premier League victory. Norwich, who at the start of the season looked like a safe relegation, attacked today at Anfield and even took the lead from a kick by Milut Rashicha (48) that hit Joel Matip and misled Allison, but the turnaround was soon completed from goals by Sadio Mana in a wonderful haircut (64), Muhammad Salah Turned over three minutes after Allison’s touchdown and reached 150 goals in the red uniform and Colombian Luis Diaz, who opened in place of the injured Firmino, scored a debut goal and sealed the final score in a game in which the Reds managed even without defenders Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander Arnold. It was also the 17th game in a row that Liverpool have not lost to Norwich, since April 1994, when in just two meetings Norwich managed to extract a point.

67 minutes, 1: 2 to Liverpool: The upheaval is complete. Allison in a long ball sent Salah, the Egyptian took advantage of a bad exit of Gan from the field, passed him and cleverly kicked to the cheeky net an accurate ball.
72 min: Salah almost scored his second, but the spinning ball went past the crossbar and went out.
80 minutes, 1: 3 to Liverpool: A debut goal for Dias, who infiltrated between the brakes, received a pass from Henderson and bounced into the net.
Crystal Palace – Chelsea 1: 0
The Blues have not looked good for a while and their gap from Liverpool has already grown to seven points as it seems the only thing left for them this season is to keep at least third place and a ticket to the Champions League next season. Today they had a very hard time in the London derby against Patrick Vieira’s team, but pressure in the final minutes paid off for them and it was Hakim Zeish who in the 89th minute scored from close range and gave the locals a sixth consecutive league game without a win.

Minute 11: Rodiger tried his luck from almost 30 yards and squeezed a wonderful save from Guita.
30 minutes: Chelsea dominate, but fail to threaten the host’s goal. Lukaku has only touched the ball twice so far.
45 min: Palace’s outburst ended in Zaha’s miss against Mandy. An opportunity that may not come back for the hosts.
75th minute: Lukaku had a hard time making an impact, but managed to escape to the defense and one-on-one stopped a lazy Batland who came up in place of Guita in the half, but the return ball came to Zays who scored from the return ball. The gate was disqualified in a VAR test.
89 minutes, 0: 1 to Chelsea! The pressure of the Blues paid off and a minute into extra time it was Hakim Zeish who closely subdued Butland from Marcus Alonso’s cooking and gave his team the three points.
Arsenal – Brentford 1: 2
The Gunners opened the season with a loss at Brentford and today they rewarded the Bees for the same game. Emile Smith Row returned to the squad following Gabriel Martinelli’s dismissal and found the net in the 48th minute, Buccayo Saka doubled in the 79th minute and the visitors only shrank from a Christian Norgor goal deep into extra time. Arsenal are now in fifth place with 42, but just a point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, they have two games left over. Brentford continues its bad period and is already after six losses and a draw.
West Ham – Newcastle 1: 1
In the game that opened the round, there was a points split in London between the Hammers and the Magpies. The locals took the lead from a stationary position thanks to a strike by stopper Craig Dawson (32) from a good level from Arun Creswell, but the visitors were better and achieved a justified equalizer in extra time of the first half, when Joe Willock took advantage of a Declan Rice error to score for the first time this season.
