When trying to pick up the ball, the little girl fell into the swimming pool and died tragically.

Arunagiri (age 35) hails from Tagore, Laspet, Pondicherry. His wife Gnanachelvi. They had a son, Ruben (6), and a daughter, Ruby (4).
Arunagiri was working as a driver in a house in Pommayarpalayam area near Vanur. Today Arunagiri took his 2 children and went to the house where he works.
Drowns in the pool
Then Arunagiri left the 2 children to play ball and went out. The ball fell into the swimming pool there while the children were playing. When Ruby tried to pick this up, she stumbled into the pool. In which she drowned.
In the meantime Arunagiri went outside and came home shortly after. Later while searching for the children he was shocked to find Ruby drowning in the swimming pool and Ruben standing nearby.
He was rushed to the Puducherry Government Hospital for treatment. Doctors who examined him there said Ruby was already dead. Police in Auroville have registered a case and are investigating.
The tragedy of a 4-year-old girl who fell into a swimming pool while playing ball has caused great grief.
