With this wonderful statement opens the fascinating book “The boards are not a place for champions” written by Avi Idan who wants to answer the important question – many deal with solving the riddle: What is the difference between a person who wants to succeed and a person who actually succeeds?
In Idan’s opinion, two groups should be distinguished: “All the people I have met to date belong to two groups – those who are successful and those who are unlucky. Most people who are not as successful as they would like to be tend to blame their bad luck, “Everyone but themselves. So it turns out that when it comes to success and personal achievement, the hidden prevails over the visible, and most people grope in the dark, usually blaming the sky and the whole world for their situation, when they have nothing to blame but themselves.”
