A female becomes a film for everyone: no age ban
It falls on ban imposed on children under 14 who were not allowed to watch the film ‘A female’ in cinemas from yesterday February 17, 2022. “The production and distribution of the film ‘A female’ by Francesco Costabile – in fact, a note reads – they are pleased to learn that it was accepted the appeal about the classification of the film, which was initially forbidden to minors under the age of 14, and which is now instead defined as a Film for all (6+)”.
He films, freely inspired by the investigative book by Lirio Abbate ‘Rebellious women. How women will save the country from the ‘Ndrangheta”, tells the story of Rosa, a restless and rebellious girl who lives with her grandmother and uncle in a small town in Calabria, between mountains and dry rivers. Her everyday life is suddenly upset by something that emerges from her past, a trauma that inextricably links her to the mysterious death of her mother.
When Rosa finds herself victim of a fate already sealedhe decides to betray his family and seek the own blood vengeance. But when this family is the ‘Ndrangheta, every step can prove fatal.
