UAE Covid Report: Kovid: The number of cases is rising in the UAE, with less than a thousand new cases

Abu Dhabi: The number of new Kovid patients in the UAE remains below 1,000. Today, another 725 people have been diagnosed with the new covid virus, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention. In the last 24 hours, 2,391 patients were treated (covid recoveries). Another covid death has been reported in the country.

New patients were identified from 3,38,195 Kovid tests performed in the last 24 hours. A total of 8,74,607 people have been diagnosed with the Kovid virus in the UAE so far. Of these, 8,18,381 have already been cured. A total of 2,294 people in the country have died of Kovid infection. There are currently 53,932 Kovid patients being treated in the country.

Air India Express urges UAE-India passengers not to undergo PCR test

Abu Dhabi: Air India Express (Air India Express) has waived the RT PCR test for those traveling to India from the UAE after receiving two doses of the Kovid vaccine from India. Exemption is given to those who have received two doses of Wax from India. Air India Express and Air India have issued notices in this regard.

This is in line with the new guidelines for UAE-India passengers by Air India, Air India Express, Go Air, SpiceJet and IndiGo. Travelers are required to upload Kovid Vaccination Certificate from India on Air Facility Portal.

Vaccine recipients from the UAE are required to produce a negative result of the PCR test taken within 72 hours of traveling to India. All passengers are required to upload a Form Air Facility portal with details of the 14-day journey prior to departure.

Passengers arriving in Bahrain do not need a Kovid inspection and quarantine

Manama: Authorities in Bahrain have announced further exemptions from existing Kovid restrictions. Those arriving at Bahrain International Airport will no longer need to undergo the Kovid PCR Test to enter the country from Sunday. Precautionary quarantine after entry into the country is also waived.

The country’s civil aviation department announced the new exemptions last night. The recommendations of the Task Force on Kovid Defense in Bahrain were approved by the Government Executive Committee.
