After the Big Storm: Mia Dagan on her way to her next big role

by time news

Actress Mia Dagan is leaving the Cameri Theater on her way to her next role, Maariv Online learned today (Sunday). Dagan was supposed to participate in the comedy musical “Hava and I”, based on the story of Hava Yaari and Aviva Granot, who murdered the tourist Mela Malavsky in the 1980s. The musical was written by Yami Whistler from the entertainment band, directed by Noa Raban, when Dagan and Irit Kaplan were supposed to play the two murderers, but now they will have to look for a new actress in the theater.

Industry sources said that Dagan has been in contact with the Habima Theater for a long time, but these contacts have not matured into a contract by this stage.

Dagan caused a great stir five years ago when she left the Beit Lessin Theater and moved to the Cameri Theater, following her ambition to play in the play “Funny”. In those days, theater director Tzipi Pines spoke out strongly against her, claiming that she had violated a contract by not participating in the play “Training the Unruly” that was intended for her.

The Cameri Theater said: “Five years after she joined the Cameri ranks, we say goodbye to Mia Dagan, thank her for her activity in the theater and wish her continued success.”

Dagan’s representatives said: “No response”
