A congratulatory ceremony was held for a government school student who won gold in a boxing match in Nepal.

Red Fort:
Tenkasi District Red Fort SMS Athip is a 9th standard student in Government Men’s High School. He represented the school in the Youth Game International Boxing Tournament in Nepal and won a gold medal, adding to the pride of the country and the school he attends.
The gold medal winning student Attippu was welcomed on behalf of the school and an appreciation ceremony was held at the school premises. Tenkasi District Primary Education Officer Kabir presided over the function. Murugesan is the headmaster of the school and Samuthirakani is the assistant headmaster. Sivasubramanian and Sudarmani took the lead. Teacher Sudhakar welcomed all. Following this, on behalf of the school, the student presented gifts to Atti and spoke in appreciation.
The event was attended by the Director of Physical Education-National Student Corps Officer Aruldas, Country Welfare Project Coordinator Murugan, teachers-students and students. At the end the teacher thanked Sanjay Gandhi.
