Samantha as Shakuntala; Shakunthalam first look poster taken over by fans
Fans have been waiting for a few days for the first look poster of South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest film ‘Shakunthalam’. Shakunthalam’s poster has come out, putting an end to the wait.
The movie is based on the classic work ‘Abhinjanasakunthalam’ and has a huge cast. The audience has already seen many expressions of this work.
This love poem and its characters are familiar both in drama and in cinema. Audiences are waiting for ‘Shakuntala’ as a remake of it.

Aniyara activists had earlier said that the film was made through Shakuntala’s eyes, which is different from the old myths. Dev Mohan, who has become a favorite of Malayalees with his role in the Telugu film ‘Sufi and Sujatha’ starring Gunasekara in the lead role, will play the villain in the film.
After ‘Rudramadevi’, the film will be directed by Gunasekara and produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju under the banner of Guna Teamwork and Dil Raju Productions.
The film also stars Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gautami, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagella, Madhubala, Kabir Bedi and Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha in other important roles. Most of the actors who play Shakunthalam are familiar to the Malayalees. Filming began late last year.
