Cochin: ATK Mohun Bagan’s defender Sandesh Jhinkan has been criticized for making anti – woman remarks after the match against Kerala Blasters. When Jinkan was the star of Kerala Blasters, a huge banner (Tifo) made by the yellow team fans was burnt.
Fans burned the Kuttan banner with a note on the video saying, “Tifo is made by a lot of people by falling asleep. Made with love. No more in it.”

When he left the Blasters for another team, his liking for the player did not diminish. The Yellow Jackets have shared this video on their social media page, noting that there is no bigger fighter than a woman and no player who has grown beyond the club. Later, the fan community launched a hashtag campaign called #GameKnowsNoGender

Jinken made the controversial remark as he left the field after the Kerala Blasters FC ATK Mohun Bagan match on February 19. ATK also shared the story on their Instagram page.

The former Kerala Blasters star was looking at the camera in Hindi and saying, “I played with women, with women.” Following the release of the video, the Yellow Jackets and other football fans came out against the Indian defender.
After yesterday’s match between ATKMB and KBFC, Sandesh Jhingan was allegedly heard saying “aurato ke saath match khela hai, aurato ke saath” (We played with women, with women) in a video uploaded on ATKMB’s instagram page.

The actor had apologized after his words became controversial. That being said, in the guise of not being able to win the match. His words were never meant for the Kerala Blasters. Jinken said in his apology post that he never saw the Blasters as such.

People who know me personally know that I am the biggest supporter of the Indian women’s team. “No one should forget that I have a mother, a sister and a wife,” he wrote in his post.
These are the words he uttered during an argument with his teammate. The former Kerala Blasters defender added in the post that he apologizes if his words have offended anyone.
