The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, directed the opening of Al-Halabiyah Sq. in Nineveh to accommodate the portions of marketed wheat.
The Ministry of Commerce media said in an announcement acquired by the (INA), that “The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, directed the Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, Ghassan Farhan Hamid, the Director Basic of the Basic Firm for Grain Commerce, Haider Al-Karaawi, and the Director of the Minister’s Workplace, to go to Nineveh Governorate to observe up on advertising and marketing, simplify procedures, and take up momentum.” And opening the Aleppo yard with a capability of 80 thousand tons, along with coordinating with the native authorities and supporting events for the aim of arranging mechanisms for advertising and marketing and receiving portions of wheat on this yard and the opposite yards that have been opened earlier.”
He added, “Minister Al-Ghurairi’s directive got here to take rapid and pressing measures to simplify the procedures for farmers and enhance storage capability to soak up the marketed portions and cut back the momentum on the remainder of the advertising and marketing websites within the governorate.”
He identified that “different yards had beforehand been opened in Nineveh Governorate, particularly Al-Khazir, Nimrud, Al-Amin, and Fleifel, to ease the momentum on Silo Makhmour and Silo Zawiya, and to accommodate the marketed portions.”
