Courteney Cox She still appears on the small screen in almost every home – in reruns (never ending, artist) of “Friends”, and last January also starred on the big screen in the sequel to the horror film series, “Scream”. But there is nothing to do, she will forever be Monica Geller, who when you look at her immediately has a strong desire to arrange the towels according to categories (11!). She, for her part, just wants to “grow old gracefully.”

The 57-year-old actress was chosen to star on the cover of Times Style magazine in which she referred to the cosmetic treatments she has undergone over the years. Cox explained that she first tried to fight age with various injections and other cosmetic treatments – until she eventually realized she was “crazy”: “There was a time when I said ‘oh, I’m changing. I look older,’ “That kind of cruise, I look really weird with the shots and I did things to my face that I would never do now.”

Cox said she sometimes wonders whether to post photos on Instagram, from those days – compared to now: “I would say, ‘the day you understand what your friends were talking about.’ , it’s too much'”.

But even though she has given up on injections and cosmetic treatments at this point, Courtney makes it clear that she really likes trying new products. She even declared that she was a “M – E of products”, all because of the pressure she was experiencing in trying to look good: “There’s a lot of pressure, but I do not know if it’s more disturbing than the things I put on myself.”

And not just cosmetics: During the interview, the “Friends” star also talked about her relationship with Johnny McDeed. The two, it will be recalled, got engaged somewhere in 2014 – but according to Cox the wedding is really not on the horizon. “Marriage is a beautiful thing – but not in my head.” The two met through Cox’s best friend, Ed SheeranWho brought McDeed with him to visit Cox’s estate in 2013. “I remember looking at Johnny playing and thinking to myself, ‘God, look those eyes.'”

Since the engagements, the two have managed to break up and return to each other’s arms several times. “Each of us enters into this relationship with his wounds, his personal baggage. You have to look at yourself and see why you are all affected by certain comments. For example I have an abandonment anxiety because my father left when I was ten. But you have to work on it so as not to “Put pressure on the other side. The spouse can not carry your luggage either. It’s too much.”

There is an age difference of 12 years between Cox and McDeed – and for Cox, it is not personal at all: “I feel young. I have a lot of friends in their 30s and I do not think about it at all. For me we are all the same age.” And age is not the only “difficulty”. Cox lives in California, McDaid’s home in general in London and the two move between homes. Earlier this month they came together for a BRIT awards ceremony held in London. “I have never met anyone who has such love. Love for family, love for love, love for relationships.”
