jpnn.comJEMBER – The Indonesian Survey Panel Institute (PSI) continues its survey in the Jember area, East Java to measure public preferences ahead of the 2024 regional elections.
PSI Executive Director Mahendra Zaini said, in a survey with a closed simulation of potential Jember regent candidates, the results showed that Faida as the former Jember Regent was in the top position with 37.2 percent.
Then there is Hendy Siswanto 22.1 percent, Gus Fawait 16.8 percent. Then there is Gus Firjaun who has an electability of 6.8 percent, Karimullah Dahrujiadi 5.1 percent, Gus Jaddin Wajad 2.1 percent, Hadi Supaat 1.7 percent, and those who did not answer were 8.3 percent.
Then when the simulation of three names of prospective regent candidates was conducted, the results showed that Faida’s electability increased to 41.7 percent. Followed by Hendy Siswanto at 30.3 percent, and Gus Fawait at 20.9 percent.
“In the head-to-head simulation test between Faida and Hendy Siswato, the Respondent’s choice showed Faida’s electability level at 58.9 percent and Hendy Siswanto’s 34.8 percent. Respondents who did not answer were 6.3 percent,” Mahendra told reporters, Wednesday (3/7).
Then in the head to head simulation between Fawait and Faida. Fawait’s electability is only at 32.6 percent while Faida’s electability is 59.2 percent. Respondents who did not answer were 8.2 percent.
Mahendra said, in the head to head simulation test between Hendy Siswanto and Gus Fawait, Hendy Siswanto’s electability was at 47.9 percent and Fawait’s electability was 34.7 percent. Respondents who did not answer were 17.4 percent.
In this survey, the sample size was 1,600 respondents from the DPT population in Jember in the 2024 election of 1,972,216 voters. Sampling used the multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 2.45 percent, and a confidence level of 95 percent.
Faida’s experience and real work evidence make her the choice of the people of Jember.
