The passage of the Tropical Wave attacks the Salvadoran territory generating rains and floods in different parts of the country, in addition to maintaining surveillance in different districts due to the high probability of flooding.
Some of the areas that have unfortunately been flooded are: Carretera de Oro, after Unicentro, Soyapango; the Santa Lucía Colony Triangle, Ilopango and Diagonal Héctor Silva, near the Universidad Pedagógica, San Salvador.
“Heavy rains and storms will continue in the coming hours in different parts of the country, including the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador. We will also have these conditions tomorrow afternoon, due to the passage of a Tropical Wave,” said MARN.
In addition, the Environment Portfolio reported a high probability of urban flooding in the following districts: Santa Cruz Analquito, Candelaria, San Cristobal, San Ramon, Cojutepeque, San Pedro Perulapan, Tenancingo, San Jose Guayabal, Suchitoto.
