The driver of the passenger car (born in 1985) was also taken to the hospital. She suffered a leg injury. After providing assistance, the woman was discharged home.

According to preliminary data, the truck driven by a Latvian citizen (born in 1963) was driving on Ukmergės st. from the city, and the passenger car crossed the intersection. The police did not find any direct witnesses to the incident at night, but it is believed that some driver ignored the prohibited traffic signal when entering the intersection. The tow truck driver later said that when he noticed the car, he did not have time to stop the heavy vehicle, so it crashed directly into the passenger side. From the impact, the Lexus flew to the side and hit the barriers again.

Police have already determined that both drivers were sober.
