jpnn.comYOGYAKARTA – PSIM Yogyakarta held its first training session to welcome the 2024/25 League 2 season.
The training took place at the Mandala Krida Stadium, Wednesday (3/7/2024).
The training menu led by assistant coach Erwan Hendarwanto was attended by 15 players.
New foreign players from Brazil Pedrinho and former Persiraja Banda Aceh Muammar Khadafi were still absent from this afternoon’s training session.
Head coach Seto Nurdiyantoro also did not accompany Laskar Mataram’s first training session due to personal matters.
“Earlier, the training program was from coach Seto, but it was carried out by coach Erwan because coach Seto was unable to attend,” said PSIM Jogja manager Razzi Taruna.
Furthermore, Razzi explained that the first training session attended by hundreds of supporters was the first time the players had seen the touch of the team after a long break from the competition.
“Earlier, the coach saw that first, what the players felt like, from there the coach might be able to formulate what the program would be like,” he said.
Then, the new players who took part in the first training were said to have not experienced any problems in the adaptation process. (mcr25/jpnn)
