Caracas, June 30 (Sputnik).- Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez warned this Sunday that her country’s justice system will act against “extremists” who try to harm the electoral process on July 28 in that Caribbean nation.
“The President Nicolás Maduro is very clear, that no one swallows the light, that the extremist does not swallow the light because the force of justice, the Venezuelan justice system will be for those who want to attack peace, harm make for the electoral process”, expressed Rodríguez after taking part in the mock voting.
The vice president informed that thousands of international observers will participate in the presidential elections, who will witness the democratic process and the electoral system of that country in South America.
“We have a lot of confidence, we have faith in the Venezuelan people, and we know that as a community together, in national unity, we must take care of peace, the democratic system and take care of all social. participatory structures,” he said.
Rodríguez also said that the right way is voting and democracy.
In addition, he thanked the National Armed Forces of Bolivia for their deployment at the national level to take care of the electoral process, as well as to prevent the execution of a violent plan against that nation.
Similarly, he emphasized the “massive” participation of citizens in the mock voting that is taking place this Sunday in Venezuela, before the presidential elections.
On June 24, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro criticized that the opposition is preparing offensives against the country’s electrical system to affect the electoral process on July 28.
In this regard, he warned that opposition leaders “are taking bad steps,” but they will not be able to influence the Venezuelan economy again.
Opposition candidates Luis Eduardo Martínez, Daniel Ceballos, Antonio Ecarri, Benjamín Rausseo, José Brito, as well as Maduro, signed a document with the National Electoral Council (CNE) in which they promised to recognize the results of the presidential elections on July 28. .
However, the opposition’s Unitarian Platform candidate, Edmundo González, and Enrique Márquez, from the People’s Center party, did not sign the electoral agreement.
