Since the start of the JPO on the 17th of this month, this space has seen a large number of citizens, of all age groups, who have come to donate their blood in response to the call of the organizers and as a contribution to fill the gap recorded at the level of blood banks throughout the Kingdom.

The development of a space dedicated to blood donation, in coordination with the Agadir Blood Transfusion Center, is part of the humanitarian initiatives undertaken on various occasions by the DGSN and reflects the interest it has in replenishing the national stock, said in a statement to MAP, El Hassan Ouhammou, head of the communication unit at the Agadir Police Prefecture.

This initiative, he continued, aims to promote the values of solidarity among young people, who represent a significant percentage of visitors to the DGSN Open Days and also aims to develop their spirit of responsibility so that they become active citizens within society.

The 5th edition of the DGSN Open Days, which coincides with the celebration of the 68th anniversary of the creation of the General Directorate of National Security, continues until May 21 in Agadir under the theme “National security: citizenship and solidarity”.

This citizen initiative aims to inform the public of the modernization efforts implemented by the DGSN to ensure the safety of people and property and preserve public order.
