Group ILLIT spent a special time with fans to celebrate 100 days since their debut.
On the 3rd, Ailrit held a Weverse live broadcast titled ‘Baekilrit and Baeknyeonhaero’.
On this day’s broadcast, Ailrit celebrated by singing a song in front of a 100-day debut rice cake. She also received enthusiastic congratulations from fans after announcing that she had earned the ‘Gold Button’ (1 million subscribers) on the team’s official YouTube channel.
Ailrit, who actively communicated with global fans through corners such as ‘Keyword Talk’ and real-time comment windows and showed off their unique charms as a five-member group, said, “I can’t believe that it’s already been 100 days since our debut,” and added, “I’m so grateful to the fans who always support us.”
He continued, “I’ve gained a lot of experience and memories over the past 100 days,” and “When I’m on stage and talking to fans, it still feels like a dream and I get excited.” He added, “I’ll show you a cooler and more grown-up side of me,” and hoped, “I hope you’ll continue to be with Ailrit in the future.”
Ailitt made her debut on March 25th with the release of her first mini-album, “SUPER REAL ME.” With this album, Ailitt surprised the world with remarkable results.
The title song ‘Magnetic’ entered the US Billboard ‘Hot 100’ (dated April 20th) at 91st place, and their first mini album ‘Super Real Me’ entered the ‘Billboard 200’ at 93rd place (dated May 11th). Illit is the first K-pop group to have their debut song and debut album on Billboard’s two main charts.
Ailitt made a new history in K-pop by placing “Magnetic” on the UK’s “Official Singles Top 100,” which is considered one of the world’s two major music charts along with the US Billboard. “Magnetic” also surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Spotify (as of May 21), which is also a new record for the shortest time for a K-pop girl group debut song.
