Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov visited the Italian company “CESI”, one of the world’s leading consulting companies in the field of energy, technology and innovation, Day.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy.
“The CEO of this company, Nicola Melchiotti, made presentations on the services of CESI, which operates in more than 70 countries in the field of planning, design of energy transmission infrastructure, network modernization and renewable energy sources,” the statement said.
During the meeting, the progress of the technical and economic feasibility study of the “Green Energy Corridor between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary” and cooperation in connecting renewable energy sources to the grid were discussed.
“It was noted that the Green Energy Corridors initiative is considered one of the priorities of the COP29 Action Programme,” the statement said.
The Minister of Energy also visited the laboratory of the CESI company, where various types of tests are carried out to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical components and systems.
