Salary cut of government school teachers is confirmed!
Joint Director of School Education Tej Kanwar inspected schools in Kota, the home district of Education Minister Madan Dilawar. During this, about 39 teachers and other education staff were found absent. Orders have been issued to cut their salary and issue show cause notices. The government’s intention behind this is that the number of children staying in schools should be as long as possible. Teaching work should not be affected and the public should have a positive attitude towards government schools, and teachers who reach schools late should reach their duty on time.
Officials from the local office visited the schools from 7:30 am onwards and found many employees absent without notice. Orders have been given to stop the salary of one day to the teachers and employees and to issue show cause notices.
