According to the details, Chairman Petroleum Dealers Association Abdul Sami Khan says that our message is clear, we will go on strike on July 5, petrol pumps across the country will be closed from 6 am on July 5, the strike may last for more than one day. Dealers have been asked to keep petrol at the pumps until July 4, the pumps across the country will start running dry from night, there will be no negotiations until the government withdraws the decision of 0.5% income tax, thirteen thousand across the country. Dealers will close their pumps from July 5, citizens are requested to fill their vehicles with petrol.
Abdul Sami Khan further said that there was a meeting with the Finance Minister, Chairman FBR, Chairman OGRA in Islamabad.

On the announcement of a strike by the Petroleum Dealers Association, the dealers of Lahore also decided to keep the petrol pumps closed yesterday. Around 400 petrol pumps will remain closed in Lahore. Going forward, petrol pumps operated by Police Welfare will remain open, PS pumps operated by Rangers will also remain open, petrol pumps operated by private companies will also remain open.
