The projects presented by the Moroccan stand, under the supervision of the Moroccan inventors association OFEED, which falls under the International Federation of Inventors Associations, won six medals, including two gold medals for the International University of Rabat (UIR), two gold medals for independent inventors and two silver medals for the International University of Agadir.
The Moroccan delegation, composed of 12 members, presented nine innovations in various vital fields, which stood out within the exhibition, which for the first time in its history exceeded the mark of 1,000 inventions from around forty countries.
The Moroccan projects, which represent Morocco’s largest participation in this prestigious exhibition, included 6 university innovations and 3 individual innovations, said Mohsine Bouya, director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UIR, adding that the solutions presented covered vital sectors such as renewable energy, road safety, medical technology and many others.
The projects presented by the Moroccan delegation have attracted a lot of interest from businessmen who have expressed the desire to invest in their manufacturing and marketing processes, he said in a statement to MAP.
The Fair was an opportunity to establish fruitful relations with foreign delegations of inventors in order to exchange experiences and visions and explore avenues of mutual enrichment and partnership in the world of innovation and creative solutions, added Mr. Bouya.
The Geneva Motor Show is one of the most important platforms to celebrate excellence in the field of invention at the international level. In addition to the exhibition halls, the organizers offered workshops on the different stages of invention, from idea to realization, as well as educational activities aimed at strengthening the scientific and creative sense of children.
