The owner of the General Unit of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of the Interior, Omar Gutierrez Lozano ratified this Tuesday before the General Secretariat of the Chamber of Deputies the request for impeachment against the ninth District Judge for Administrative Matters in Mexico City, Rodrigo De La Peza Lopez Figueroa.
Gutiérrez Lozano filed the complaint impeachment Yesterday and this Tuesday he went to the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro to ratify it.

The impeachment against De la Peza López was announced yesterday by the Secretary of the Interior, Luisa Maria Mayor, after he issued an order for the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) appoint the missing judges of the Superior Court.
The Court for its part issued an agreement in which it rejects the judge’s jurisdiction to impose precautionary measures regarding the integration of its Upper room and considered that the measures from De la Peza López Figueroa are unjustified y excessive.
Meanwhile, the federal deputy Hamlet Garcia Almaguer (Morena) said that his bench will demand the immediate suspension of the judge by the Federal Judicial Council for violating the Article 99 of the Constitution and the Article 61 of the Law of Protection and Independence to the determinations of the magistrates of the Upper Chamber of the TEPJF.

“I want to speak out about a district judge who went crazy, the ninth district judge in administrative matters of the Mexico City who dawned on July 1st, had a coffee and said: I don’t care that constitutional article 99 establishes the non-compliance with the determinations of the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Court.
