On June 28, 2024, the city of Riobamba witnessed a significant event with the opening of the private company PYCCA at Paseo Shopping. This new store marks a milestone in Pycca’s expansion to the center of the country, bringing significant added value to the city of Riobamba.
The opening ceremony was attended by various personalities and authorities. Among those attending were Jorge Ortega, Manager of the central area of Pycca and Juan Carlos Huaraca, Director of the Ecuadorian cultural center in Chimborazo. Jorge Ortega highlighted the importance of this new opening for the region, underlining Pycca’s commitment to local development and job creation. “It is a pleasure for us to come to the city of Riobamba. It is a dream we have had for several years and we have taken advantage of this opportunity to come. We have created more than 14 direct jobs and a number of indirect jobs. We trust that the city will welcome us with open arms,” said Ortega.
