Our Paralympic fencing team achieves outstanding results in the World Championship

Our Paralympic team players achieved outstanding results in the World Cup competitions currently being held in Poland and qualifying for the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

The member of the Executive Office and the head of the Paralympic Fencing Federation, Ali Hamid, said in a statement by the Iraqi Paralympic Committee received by the (INA), “The player Ammar Hadi received the gold medal in the individual fencing event, and the player Zain Al-Abidin Ghilan won the silver medal in the fencing sabre.”
He added, “The world ranking of player Ammar Hadi rose to fourth place, while the world ranking of player Zain Al-Abidin Ghilan rose to seventh place, and this is the highest ranking among players in category A.”
