These days, the Güireños have strict days of cleaning and beautification, before the celebration of the National Day of the Insurrection, an event that invites them to carry out some works for the benefit of their residents.
In the presence of the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party Gladys Martínez Verdecia, First Secretary of the Party in the province and Ricardo Concepción Rodríguez, the governor, Güirean authorities checked today the actions being carried out in the municipality to achieve as of July 26 and the tasks all completed.

The representatives of the workplaces and political organizations and the mass of the municipality, the headquarters of the central activities in the province, presented their action plans to commemorate the anniversary and Martínez Verdecia urged those present to consider quality in whatever which is done, with the participation of the public, as the President of the Republic Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez reminded them during a recent visit to the town.
Among the works with the greatest impact, stand out the implementation of solar panels in the CCS Frank País, and in the Nené Traviesa and José Martí daycare centers; the completion of a children’s home at the CCS Ubaldo Díaz and the completion of the MSME La Güireña state coal benefit plant, among other activities.
