Dresden – A man (23) is said to have abused a 28-year-old woman in the Saxon state capital and then tried to kill her. The victim apparently fought back with all her strength – and survived the attack, albeit seriously injured.
According to authorities, the suspected rapist is a German citizen with no immigration background. The 23-year-old was caught by police some time later and is now in custody.
The culprit wanted to silence him
As the public prosecutor’s office and the police reported, officers were called to the Seevorstadt in Dresden at 2:25 a.m. on Friday night. The crime is said to have taken place in an apartment building. There the man is said to have first assaulted the woman.
“He then allegedly tried to kill the 28-year-old man,” senior public prosecutor Jürgen Schmidt explained. “Presumably to get to him after that.” abuse Shut your mouth. It is not known what happened after this and how the woman escaped from the clutches of her predator.

He then had to be taken to hospital. Prosecutor Schmidt: “For tactical reasons, no further information is currently possible, especially with regard to the course of the crime or the motive.”

The public is currently not even expected to know where the horrific attack took place. The suspected rapist was apprehended by police shortly after the crime – he was still in the house!
The Dresden District Court has now issued an arrest warrant against the man for rape and attempted murder. He has been transferred to prison.
Police cordoned off the crime scene that night, and forensic investigators arrived and collected evidence. At the same time, a preliminary survey of neighbors was conducted.
