BOLZANO. A collaboration protocol was signed yesterday (July 2) between the Bolzano Police Headquarters and the transport company Sasa Spa. The agreement was signed by Police Chief Paolo Sartori and Sasa President Astrid Kofler. The purpose of the protocol is to make contacts and interaction between the Bolzano Police Headquarters and Sasa efficient. To this end, Sasa has prepared a telephone number dedicated to the Police Force. Similarly, the Police Headquarters will provide a telephone number to improve communication between the parties and consequently increase the level of safety for passengers and operators.

In the event of non-emergency events on board the vehicle, such as for example thefts, problems between users or people in a state of confusionthe driver of the vehicle is required to call the Sasa Operations Centre which will evaluate whether to call in internal personnel, controllers or traffic officers or request the intervention of the police via direct contact.

In other cases of problems on the ground or related to traffic, the Sasa Operations Center will evaluate whether to inform the Police Headquarters Operations Center. In the event of criminal events, the Police Headquarters Operations Center can use the dedicated number for urgent operational needs, for example for the search for missing persons or in any case for the search for persons and to request information of any kind.

The Bolzano Police Headquarters, based on the availability of personnel, undertakes to carry out control interventions on board the vehicles on the lines and at the times at greatest risk. As was said today, at the signing of the protocol, the necessary agreements are already active to allow free access to the Police on Sasa vehicles.
