jpnn.com – BIAK – The Biak Education Office, Papua, in 2024 will receive an additional 385 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) teachers.
Increasing the number of PPPK teachers to support the teaching and learning process in public schools.
“For the distribution of tasks, 385 PPPK teachers are prioritized for public school education units on the outskirts of the city,” said Head of the Biak Education and Culture Office, Kamaruddin in Biak, Thursday (4/7).
Kamaruddin said that for the placement of PPPK teachers, the Biak Regency Education and Culture Office did not provide special privileges to any teacher.
Because, during the PPPK selection, participants fill in the teacher needs formation themselves at the Education unit.
Thus, when the PPPK appointment decision letter is received, they must carry out their duties according to the school of their choice.
It was also emphasized that the Education and Culture Office would not serve requests from accepted PPPK teachers to move teaching locations for any reason.
“If you are not willing to teach at the school of your choice, you are advised to resign from the PPPK workforce,” he said.
The problem of placing PPPK teachers is still a problem, the local government’s stance is firm.
