In the last few hours, the death of a Cuban nurse named Mariela Pérez was reported.
This was announced through the Facebook account of the Antonio Guiteras Holmes Polyclinic in Old Havana, where they mourned his passing and sent messages of condolence to his family.
Apparently, this Cuban nurse suffered from an illness that she could not fight.
“You left Mariela hours ago, and you left in silence as if you didn’t want to disturb us. After a hard time of illness, God wanted to take you to reunite you with all your loved ones,” they indicated in the publication.
In this regard, her coworkers who commented on the publication described her as an excellent professional who always practiced nursing “with great vocation.” This is taking into account the serious health crisis that is being experienced on the island, which is why health professionals must work in unfavorable conditions.
“You have left us with the best memories at the Antonio Guiteras Holmes Polyclinic in Old Havana because you were always a great professional who practiced nursing with enormous vocation and dedication,” they added in the post.
They also regretted her sudden death and assured that they will always remember her.
“EPD will always remember you. Thank you for being on the front lines of care. Thank you for your kindness, dedication and healing touch. Thank you for always putting your patients first no matter how tiring your day is,” said Dalia Glean.

“RIP I will always remember you as a good friend and coworker. In which we were together for so long”, indicated Internet user Leonor Ruenes in the Facebook post.
