Jamuna Oil Company Limited, listed in the energy and power sector, topped the transactions between companies and mutual funds on the country’s main capital market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in the outgoing week (June 30 to July 4).

This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (July 6).

According to the data, the company’s shares traded worth Rs 29.95 crore during the week, which was 4.86 percent of the total traded on DSE. As a result, the company is at the top of the transaction.

Meghna Petroleum, second in the transaction list, traded shares worth Tk 20 crore 14 lakh, which is 3.27 percent of the total transactions on DSE.

Beach Hatchery, ranked third, traded shares worth Tk 14.27 crore, which is 2.32 percent of the total traded on DSE.

Among the other companies in the transaction list – Orion Pharma Tk 12 crore 74 lakh 70 thousand, Alif Industries Tk 12 crore 62 lakh, Pragati Life Insurance Tk 12 crore 27 lakh, Sea Pearl Resort Tk 11 crore 73 lakh, Unilever Consumer Tk 10 crore 51 lakh , shares of Lavello Ice Cream worth Tk 10 crore 53 lakh and Salvo Chemical Industries Tk 9 crore 88 lakh were traded.
