Libreville: Gift from the Kingdom of Morocco of a batch of copies of the Holy Quran

Libreville – The Kingdom of Morocco has donated a large batch of copies of the Holy Quran to the Hassan II Mosque in Libreville.

This donation was presented by the ambassador of HM the King to Gabon, Abdellah Sbihi, on the occasion of the commemoration of the disappearance of the father of the Nation, the late His Majesty King Mohammed V, coinciding with the 10th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

It also occurs during this month of abstinence, piety and generosity, during which Muslim faithful devote themselves a lot to reading the Holy Quran.

The delivery of these copies of the Holy Quran to the Hassan II Mosque in Libreville is of particular importance, as it contributes to strengthening spiritual and cultural ties between the two countries and embodies the fundamental values of Islam, such as solidarity, peace and tolerance.

It bears witness to the excellence of historical relations between Morocco and Gabon, while contributing to promoting an authentic understanding of Islam, based on the principles of fraternity and mutual respect.
