He received an overwhelming response from many people and in June, he delivered two orthopedic boots and five pairs of crutches to patients at the hospital and elsewhere. In a video posted on his social media, Gerardo showed the experience, interacting with people and delivering the items.

One of the stories that Gerardo learned during the delivery at the San Juan de Dios Hospital was that of Don Josué. He had a motorcycle accident with his son, who was also injured but is fine. Don Josué had an external bone fixator and remained in the hospital for 54 days. Despite the adversities, he maintains a positive spirit, with a desire to see his family again and return to work.
