The Ministry of Trade announced today, Saturday, the launch of electronic supply operations in Muthanna Governorate, starting from the fourth of this month.
A statement by the Ministry’s media office from the Director General of the Department, Talib Hassan, received by the (INA), stated that “in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Trade, Athir Al-Ghariri, the Planning and Follow-up Department launched all supply operations in Al-Muthanna Governorate electronically, starting from Thursday, the fourth of this July.”
He added that “the department launched all supply operations in Muthanna Governorate, which include (transportation, division, adding children, blocking, lifting temporary blocking, lifting blocking for high incomes for those whose salaries are less than two million dinars, deleting the deceased, correcting the name).”
The statement explained that “the supply operations will be electronic via the (Tamweeni) application, and citizens can download the application from the (Play Store) and promote their transaction, while sitting at home without the need to visit the supply branch, in order to lift the burden on the citizen and simplify the procedures, as citizens’ transactions will be received and completed by specialized employees who have been previously trained on the application at the Muthanna Supply Branch.”
He added that “payment of collection fees will be through the Zain Cash application.”
In a related context, the statement indicated that “food and flour agents in the governorate were trained on how to use the (Agent) application, through which the basket items will be prepared, cut, and delivered.”
