jpnn.comBANDAR LAMPUNG – Lampung Police conveyed the latest news on the rental car embezzlement case involving Bandarlampung City DPRD member Nisfu Apriana.

Head of Public Relations of Lampung Police, Senior Commissioner Umi Fadilah Astutik, said that the case ended peacefully.

“The peaceful path has been taken in this case. So, both the victim and the perpetrator reached an agreement to make peace,” said Kombes Umi in Bandarlampung, Sunday (6/7).

Nisfu Apriana, who was previously arrested by the police for embezzlement of a rental car, is willing to pay compensation as requested by the victim, which is IDR 40 million.

“So, all parties have agreed to make peace, and the victim has withdrawn his report,” he stressed.

He explained that Nisfu Apriana was arrested by the Tanjung Karang Timur Police for embezzling a rental car.

The chronology of this case began when the perpetrator came to the victim’s residence in the Kedamaian area to rent a black Toyota Avanza car with police plate BE 1055 H for a duration of four days and a cost of IDR 350 thousand per day on Sunday (23/6) at around 21.00 WIB.

After renting the car, the perpetrator pawned it for IDR 35 million to someone with the initials P who is still being hunted by the police.
