The Organizing Committee of the Viña del Mar Festival 2025 surprised this Monday by revealing a series of announcements within which it was reported the dates in which the contest will be held in its 64th edition.
At this first official meeting, several changes were made in areas such as the direction, the well-known gala with special guests and other topics. An event that was chaired by the mayor Macarena Ripamonti, the councilors members of the Promotion Commission, municipal officials in charge and the executives of Megamedia and Bizarro Live Entertainment, those in charge of the production and transmission of the festival.

Within the information that was delivered, the Commission defined that the Vine Festival 2025 will start next Sunday, February 23 and will extend until the Friday, February 28th.
In addition, as usual, the summer event will feature six nights where there will be musical shows, humor and also artistic and folkloric competitions.

Following these announcements, Mayor Macarena Ripamonti said that “this decision will allow the most important event in the country to contribute to the economic development of the city, generating employment, high hotel occupancy and boosting tourism throughout the summer, since the Festival will end on the last day of February.”
To this, the first communal authority added: “In addition, the bases of the International and Folklore Competitions will have important advances to enhance the essence of the Festival, giving prominence to singers and musicians from around the world who hope to compete in the 2025 version of the event, which will open its applications in a few days.”
“We hope that the joint work of the Municipality with Megamedia and Bizarro continues to be fruitful, with the sole and most important objective of giving value to the Festivalwith professional, innovative work and the highest standards of the music and television industry,” Ripamonti concluded.
Finally, the names of the executives responsible for the event in their different areas were announced, highlighting the television direction of Alex Hernandez and Sebastian Hodarwhile the musical direction will once again be in the hands of Roberto López.
