Flatland herself shares the news in the Wednesday episode of Åpen Journal, her podcast with her husband Harald Meling Dobloug.
– This will be a slightly different episode, because the summer started a little differently for us, Flatland starts the episode.
It was two weeks ago on Sunday that the presenter was hospitalized to respond to a serious infection. In the episode, she says she got blood poisoning.
– I think I was never as bad as I was then, she says.
Flatland fell ill suddenly after a family dinner on Sunday evening. The first infection occurred in the hand, at the Flatland insulin pump. The presenter has type 1 diabetes.
In the end, she and Dobloug decided to go to the doctor, where it was later decided that she should be admitted to Deacon House.
– I am very tired and fatigued, says Flatland about the last few weeks and adds that she feels better now.
