In the 35th minute, Arda Guller perfectly crossed into the penalty area, where Samet Akaydin headed the ball under the crossbar. This moment left the Dutch team in the role of catch-up for most of the game.
The Dutch managed to equalize the score in the 70th minute thanks to a technical performance by Memphis Depay, who passed the ball to Stefan De Vrij. Just five minutes later, Turkish player Mert Myrdur cut the ball into his own goal, ensuring Holland their first Euro semi-final in 20 years.
Turkey desperately tried to equalize the score until the end of the match, creating several dangerous moments, but the Dutch defense managed to successfully repel all attacks.
The semi-final matches will take place on July 10. Spain will play France, and England will play Holland.
