The year 1961 was decisive for both Mustafas, who joined the famous “Masra Ennas” troupe of the late Tayeb Saddiqi, then the “Al Okhoua Arabia” (Arab Brotherhood) troupe of Abdeladim Chennaoui.
Together, Dassoukaine and Zaïri left their mark on cinema with films such as “Le Tourbillon – Moi l’Artiste” by Abdellah Mesbahi (1974), “Le Tourbillon – Moi l’Artiste” by Abdellah Zerouali (1978), “La Braise – Al Jamra” by Farida Bourkia (1982), and “Hors Zone” by Noureddine Douguena (2012).
On television, Dassoukin has also shone with works such as “Kolha o Harfatou” by Mohamed Khalfi, “Labas Kadek Iouatik” by Ahmed Haidar, “Khamsa o Khamis” by Farida Bourkia, “Kanaou Hana” by Nasser Lahouar and “Al Hila Ahsan Mina” by 3ar Mustafa Khayat.
A man of soul, heart and kindness, Mustapha Dassoukin was a true merchant of joy. His death has left a huge void in the Moroccan artistic landscape.
