According to the Head of the Health Action Service (CSAS) and coordinator of LLIN distribution activities, Dr. Kolo Tinnan Koné, the distribution started on Thursday July 4, 2024 and continues until July 8, 2024, to allow populations to protect themselves against . mosquito bites and therefore against malaria.

“We have five days and we are asking all populations to go out en masse to collect the mosquito nets using their ticket given to them during the count,” suggested Dr. Koné.

He specified that several distribution stations were opened for this purpose, in particular, in the area of ​​January 28, at Habitat, in Koffikro, in Dioulakro and even stations in the villages.

“We ask all populations to come and remove their mosquito nets. We are there from the morning at 7:30 am until the evening at 5:45 pm, so any time of the day. They can go to distribution points and collect LLIN. We are open to everyone and if there is any problem, the health district is open and we are still available to solve any issues that may arise. We hope to see huge crowds till July 8,” he said.

Dr. Kolo Koné then welcomed the recording of a significant number of withdrawals since the beginning of operations and said that he was confident because things are going well.

“Perhaps there are certain populations, people who have not received the information since we have mobilisers on the ground to provide information. We also have a taxi that goes around to provide information. We hope that with the AIP, the information will reach the few people who do not have it. Above all, we remain available, and we are there until the evening of the eighth at 5:30 in If there is any problem, they can see us,” said Dr. Kone.
