There is no conflict between the honorary chairman of DPS, Ahmed Dogan, and the chairman of the party, Delyan Peevski, according to Peevski’s position, distributed by the party’s press center.
In it, Peevski addresses Dogan personally with the words: “I have always been by your side, you could always count on me and that has not changed.”

Anyone who has lived a long time in political life knows that borders can be crossed too often and easily. And this has always been considered part of the unwritten rules of the game. But even in this game there are boundaries that cannot be crossed. Never under any circumstances.
As a politician, I can accept a lot of things and I have proven that I can overcome them and despite the harsh words and oppositions that have been said, I have managed to find dialogue and balances.
One thing I will not accept, I will not allow and I will not pass – no one, regardless of motive, measure, personal or group selfishness, has the right to oppose me with the honorary chairman of the DPS, Dr. Ahmed Dogan.
Let me be clear – there is no opposition between Dogan and Peevski and there cannot be! There is no Dogan-Peevski conflict and there cannot be! There is no Dogan-Peevski topic and there cannot be!
Dogan is the leader I’ve always been there for in the hardest times, no matter what! When they betrayed him, when it was difficult, when everyone was hiding, I was still there for him. And the other thing – he was always there for me, even when it was very, very difficult. We’ve always been together.
He knows this very well. And everyone who speaks today knows this too. And I will not accept them ascribing to themselves the role of spokesmen, mediators or I don’t know what fictional factors.
And since these days we have watched and listened to intrigues, suggestions, substitutions and manipulations, I will turn with all due respect to Mr. Dogan to say just one thing “I have always been there for you, you could always count on me and that hasn’t changed.”
Because Dogan is the founder and honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, and no one in the party has disputed this, not even for a moment, and I would not allow it to be disputed by anyone.
This is the meaning of the three letters DPS – to protect, to change the lives of our people, and now our task is to atone for the mistakes we have made over the years.
No one can deny what I have done for DPS and our people since one year, after the long standstill.
If someone denies it – let’s come and argue.
And if it is my fault that I brought the DPS out of isolation and gave hope to our people, I am ready to bear that fault.
Will DPS be stronger if Dogan and Peevski are not together!? Thank God, this issue is not on the agenda at all.
But we have to be honest with people and admit – there is a topic and there is a conflict.
And the topic is the Peevski deribes.
The skirmishers who got rich on Dogan’s back. Who harassed people with “this for up, this for me, send me” etc. And our people and the deribes themselves know very well what I’m talking about!
The skirmishes that are now messing with people’s souls. And why? From fear? On purpose? Out of greed?
They have no argument for anything I did against DPS and DPS people. But I do and will do everything to close the matter with them and stop harassing our people.
And I remind you that in places there is not a single one excluded, except for those that our people insisted on.
Always, no matter what happens, I will be with those people for whom I shouldered the burden of responsibility to be the party chairman.
For all other topics, whenever I had to, I talked to absolutely everyone. No one talked to colleagues more than I did.
The lack of initiative is an issue for the meetings and the two chairmen, but this cannot be a problem that threatens the integrity of the party.
The real theme, however, is New Beginnings.
This scared the derbies.
What they are doing now is happening with pressure, with crushing people, which will no longer be allowed.
I will not abandon the principles of the New Beginning!
I will give young people and renewal a chance, because we have proven that we can be strong.
I want young people to see that it makes sense to support DPS.
Because people saw and believed what we can do.
DPS became the second political force with 47 MPs, with its active mayors and strong local authority, and we must not let anything stop us on this path!
We must be united, be together!
