jpnn.com – MANOKWARI – The handover of the Decree on the Appointment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (SK PPPK) is a day that honorary employees have been waiting for.
After officially receiving the PPPK Decree, the new ASN were asked not to be indifferent to their duties as civil servants.
This was stated by the Regent of Manokwari, West Papua Province, Hermus Indou, at the swearing-in ceremony and handover of the decree to 716 PPPK formations in 2023.
The 716 PPPK consist of 452 health workers and 264 teachers.
“Starting today is the estuary and starting line that has been awaited after going through various long processes. With the appointment of all of you as PPPK, it will have an impact on services to the community as civil servants,” he said in Manokwari, Friday (5/7).
Hermus Indou said that PPPK is required to be able to carry out their mandate as state apparatus, government apparatus, and public servants.
As a consequence, PPPK is required to continue to improve discipline in work culture, while also implementing the mandate of Government Regulation Number 49 of 2018 concerning Management of Government Employees with Work Agreements.
PPPK must be able to realize the goals of bureaucratic reform, namely realizing good governance, productive, high integrity, working professionally, and committed to the interests of the people.
There are still many honorary employees who want to be appointed as Government Employees with Work Agreements or PPPK.
