Lim Sung-jae recorded a 7-under 64 with 8 birdies and 1 bogey in the second round of the tournament held at TPC Deere Run (par 71) in Silvis, Illinois, USA on the 6th (Korean time).

Seongjae Im, who finished the first round tied for 27th place with a 5-under 66 the day before, succeeded in entering the leaders by rising to a tie for 4th place with an interim total of 12-under 130.

Seongjae Lim is continuing his good performance this season, making it into the top 10 five times.

In particular, he has been on an upward trend, achieving four out of five top 10 finishes in the past two months, and the PGA Tour even ranked Im Sung-jae as the top candidate to win this tournament on the 2nd.

Hayden Springer (USA), who shot a whopping 12-under 59 in the first round to take the sole lead, had four birdies, two bogeys, and one double bogey on this day, reducing only one stroke in the second round and dropping to a tie for fourth place.

Aaron Lai (England) and Pan Tseng-chung (Taiwan) are tied for first place.

The pair shot 8-under 63 without a single bogey in the second round, recording a combined score of 14-under 128, one stroke ahead of Harry Hall (England) in third place.

Kim Seong-hyeon, who also participated in this tournament, shot a 2-under 69 with 5 birdies and 3 bogeys. He had been tied for 27th place with Im Seong-jae until the day before, but after the second round, his ranking dropped to a tie for 39th place.
