Top singer and actress IU (Lee Ji-eun) has successfully completed her solo concert in Osaka, Japan, while on a world tour.

According to her agency, Edam Entertainment, on the 8th, IU held the ‘2024 IU HEREH World Tour Concert in Osaka’ at ASUE ARENA OSAKA on the 6th and 7th.

IU, who visited the archipelago again after four months since her Yokohama performance in March, opened the concert with the signature song of this world tour, “Hollsee.” She showed off lovely chemistry with the local child dancers.

After that, they performed a parade of hit songs such as ‘Celebrity’, ‘Blooming’, ‘Eight’, ‘I Will Be the Audience’, ‘Strawberry Moon’, and ‘Twenty-three’.
On the first day of the encore, which began after the official order, they sang “I Give You My Heart,” “Voice Mail,” “To Your Name,” and “Palette.” On the second day of the encore, they sang “Good Day” (the Japanese version of “Good Day”), “Someday,” “Pink Shoes,” “Knees,” and “Palette.”

In particular, ‘Voice Mail’ received a great response as it was a song included in IU’s first Japanese mini-album released in 2013. This song is also a song included in IU’s third full-length album ‘Modern Times’ released in October of the same year.

Lee Dam said, “‘Good Day’ was sung by fans as an event, and IU sang a short Japanese version to respond, which drew explosive cheers.”
He also explained, “The fans sang all the songs in Korean and made good use of the highlights of the songs that didn’t have an official cheering method. They also prepared a surprise slogan event and actively participated in the flower giving event at ‘Blooming,’ creating an energetic atmosphere.”

IU also communicated closely with her fans in Japanese and presented a gift she had prepared in advance to all the Osaka audience.

IU also mentioned a memorable anecdote on her way to work. It was when she saw a fan who took a picture of her and cheered her on during her past activities in Japan. She said, “While singing ‘I’ll Be Your Audience,’ I felt a little sad because I wondered why that person liked me for so long.”
IU emphasized in her final comment, “I came to Osaka to eat a lot of delicious food and receive a lot of gratitude. The tour is now nearing its end, and I think I will be able to finish it with the strength from Osaka.”

IU will begin her full-fledged American tour starting in Newark on the 15th.
