“We have set up an operation led by the Ministry of Health with the aim of eliminating mosquito breeding sites to eradicate dengue. There are 316 bombs, 14 ULV bombs and 90 vehicles to initially reach the most populated districts and thus cover more than 80% of the territory,” said the Minister of the Interior, Juan Carlos Bidegain.

This operation was activated after a Red Alert was declared for cases of dengue. In the country, according to the Ministry of Health, it is detailed as follows:

Three minors have died, seven patients are seriously ill and seven are ventilated, and a total of 174 PCR tests have been positive.

Likewise, the President of the Republic instructed the human talent of the Municipal Works Department to intensify and redouble efforts to contain the transmission vector.
