BUONDI coffee grounds generated at Rock in Rio will be used to regenerate soils in Parque Tejo

A GOOD it was the official cafe again Rock in Rio Lisbon 2024, in the year in which the 20th anniversary of the festival was celebrated. This edition had a result more than 400 kilograms of land from the coffee served during the four days of the festival, almost triple the number of the last edition.

These sludges will reused to help regenerate the soils of Parque Tejoas part of a sustainability activity implemented by the brand, to give a second life to the coffee grounds generated during the festival.

The choice of coffee and the way it is produced is becoming more and more important and, therefore, BUONDI brought its organic batch, BUONDI Organic, to this festival, which is certified by Rainforest Alliance and BIO. This coffee is responsibly sourced and produced in the Nestlé factory in Porto. The coffees were served in recyclable paper cups, furthering Nestlé’s commitment to reduce the use of pure plastic in its packaging by a third by 2025.
